If The Mother Angel from Drakengard 1 was once someone else. So there are a lot of connections to the idea behind this theory. The clones in the story are controlled and when they are being controlled they display red eyes. They just act differently and look different so it could be a possibility that they might be the same thing, but I don't really think they are as of now. I'm not dismissing the notion that they could possibly be the same thing. The flowers in her timeline eat people and act more like creatures than weird magical entities. However, the flowers in her timeline do display different characteristics from the one we see in the Drakengard 3 timeline. Her story also has her fighting off flowers in her world. You see there's one character in S1 we explore the story of and it's Prisoner F66X. Not until Nier Reincarnation came into the scene. Enter a medieval world that struggles to maintain peace as Zero attempts to eliminate her goddess-like sisters, the Intoners. There wasn't anyone who quite fit the physical description for a while. Journey to a faraway land to unravel the mystery of Zero, One and the Intoners in Drakengard 3, an action RPG that takes place before the events of the original Drakengard. If the Mother Angel we see in Drakengard was once someone before it would most likely be someone who has the same features as it. Whether all Mother Angels are created by someone being transfigured into one or some come into existence right away, isn't something so clear. Now there's one more Mother Angel I haven't shown you because it ties into my theory. One thing the majority of the Mother Angels have been consistent in is what they look like as a Mother angel resembles what they look like prior to becoming a Mother Angel Every instance of their appearance has them looking different from each other. I haven't found anything besides people basically saying "Oh they're both Mother AngelsĮvidence to support my theory comes from a visual cue we see across the Yokoverse regarding Mother Angels or beings displaying properties like Mother Angels. As far as I'm aware the only basis of this theory is that Zero's seal could be undone someday and remerge in another world but that's such a reach that when it actually comes to a much-needed explanation as to why that is Zero. People like to connect things together and make D3 feel more connected to the other titles but I personally don't like this theory as there's more to discredit it than validate it. Everyone was on the bandwagon that the Mother Angel that appears in Drakengard 1 is the same one you defeat in Drakengard 3. I have been thinking about it for some time.
